Veteran Indian actor and television host Shekhar Suman has taken a sarcastic swipe at Aamir Khan following the Bollywood star's recent marriage to longtime friend Gauri Spratt.
Aamir Khan married Spratt in an intimate ceremony on July 5, marking his third marriage after his previous marriages to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.
The wedding sparked widespread discussion on social media, with many users reacting to the actor's latest chapter in his personal life.
Sharing his views during his YouTube talk show Shekhar Tonite, the 63-year-old actor joked about Khan's relationship history.
"This man has given a unique vision to several generations yet to come," Suman said. "And that vision is to chase something till you don't achieve it."
He then compared Aamir's personal life to political alliances.
"Politicians, especially, should learn a lot from him. It's often said that politicians know how to form alliances. But they should learn the art of forming alliances from this man," he remarked.
Suman continued the joke by referring to India's political phrase "double-engine government."
"Our government can't run a double engine smoothly, and he's running a triple engine now," he quipped, drawing laughter from the audience.
Aamir Khan's third marriage has remained a hot topic since the ceremony, with fans and celebrities offering mixed reactions online.
According to Indian media reports, the actor is also planning to build a multigenerational home where he hopes to live with his extended family, including former wife Kiran Rao and their son Azad.
