Terrorists attacked the Hazrat Umar Farooq border check post on the Punjab-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa boundary in Dera Ghazi Khan.
Two Elite Force personnel were martyred and two others injured in the attack, a police spokesperson said. Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
Punjab Police have thwarted several terrorist attacks in border regions between Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in recent months.
