Indian athletes accepted medals from International Hockey Federation (FIH) President Tayyab Ikram during the Under-18 Asia Cup.
Tayyab Ikram is from Pakistan and currently serves as President of the FIH. He also presented the trophy to the Indian players following the tournament.
The Indian players shook hands with Tayyab Ikram during the presentation ceremony.
In contrast, during the Asia Cup cricket tournament, Indian players did not receive the trophy from the Pakistani head of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
