At the Board of Peace ceremony in Davos, US President Donald Trump and senior members of his team outlined what they called major progress toward peace in Gaza, including a ceasefire and a long-term reconstruction plan.
Addressing world leaders at the ceremony, President Trump said his team had done an “excellent job” on Gaza and expressed gratitude to all countries that signed the Board of Peace.
“I am grateful to all the countries that signed the Board of Peace,” Trump said, adding that international cooperation had played a key role in moving the Gaza situation toward stability.
Kushner outlines Gaza master plan
Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner revealed that a comprehensive master plan for Gaza has been prepared and will now be implemented.
He said the plan aims to clear the rubble of Gaza within two to three years and rebuild the devastated area. Kushner stressed that reconstruction would follow the ceasefire and focus on long-term stability.

Kushner said that together with US Special Representative Steve Witkoff, he helped bring the Gaza deal to a “logical conclusion.”
He said that in just 100 days, the team achieved important results regarding peace in Gaza and ensured the supply of food to the territory after the ceasefire came into effect.
US envoy credits regional partners for success
US Special Representative Steve Witkoff said a successful ceasefire agreement had been reached in Gaza on the direct orders of President Trump.
He credited Qatar, Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia for playing a decisive role in making the agreement a success.

Speakers emphasized that the Gaza ceasefire and reconstruction framework were the result of coordinated diplomatic efforts under the Board of Peace initiative.
Officials said the agreement marked a key step toward sustaining peace in Gaza and rebuilding the region after months of conflict.
