Pakistan pacer Rumman Raees and former ace all-rounder Yasir Arafat have acknowledged the brilliance showcased by T20I captain Salman Ali Agha against Afghanistan in the first match of the tri-nation series at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Raees said: "Alhumdullilah a good start to series for Pakistan. Captain Salman led from the front, good cameos by Nawaz, Faheem, and great bowling by Shaheen, Sufiyan, Nawaz, & obviously Haris."
Raees has acknowledged the “fighting spirit” shown by Afghanistan, saying, "Credit to Afghanistan for putting up a good fight. All the best for upcoming matches my boys. Zindabad.”
Meanwhile, Arafat underlined the difference created by Agha with his splendid display with the bat.
"Dominant win for Pakistan, but for me the difference was Salman Ali Agha’s innings. Calm under pressure, classy in execution," Arafat added.
