On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, gold and silver prices in Pakistan saw a significant increase, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs1,400, reaching Rs349,300, while 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,200 to Rs299,468. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs1,100, now priced at Rs274,522.
In the international market, the gold rate climbed by $14, standing at $3,309 per ounce.
Silver prices also recorded gains, with 24-karat silver per tola rising by Rs32 to Rs3,480, and 10 grams of silver up by Rs37, reaching Rs2,983.
The international silver price went up by $0.32, now standing at $33.22 per ounce.
These rates are calculated based on interbank exchange rates and were announced by Muhammad Qasim Shikarpuri, President of the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
