Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, held a telephonic conversation with Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to brief him on the latest regional developments, particularly Pakistan’s response to recent Indian aggression.
During the call, Ishaq Dar provided a detailed overview of Pakistan’s defensive and proportionate measures in light of escalating tensions with India. He underscored Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and stability, while also highlighting the necessity of protecting its sovereignty.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Turkish Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s “measured and responsible” response, commending the country for avoiding escalation and demonstrating maturity in handling the situation.
Both leaders reaffirmed the strength of Pakistan-Turkey bilateral relations and agreed to maintain close diplomatic contact in the coming days. The conversation reflects the trusted and strategic partnership between the two nations, especially during times of regional crisis.
