Pakistan has strongly rejected what it calls baseless and irresponsible allegations made by India, describing them as part of a broader propaganda campaign aimed at maligning the country.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), the Indian media has levelled accusations against Pakistan regarding attacks in Pathankot, Jaisalmer and Srinagar. The ministry dismissed these claims as unfounded and politically motivated.
“The allegations appear to be an attempt to justify atrocities and to create further instability in the region,” the Foreign Office said in a press release.
It added that such rhetoric undermines regional peace and stability, and urged the international community to take serious note of what it termed a dangerous trend in Indian discourse.
In defence of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, Pakistan reaffirmed its resolve to respond decisively and with complete determination.
MoFA spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated that Pakistan remains vigilant and firmly committed to maintaining peace in the region. “Pakistan reserves the right to respond to any provocative actions,” he said.
