Former senior manager of the Pakistan cricket team Wahab Riaz Wednesday rejected allegation of putting any influence and arbitrariness in team selection and termed as ‘baseless’.
It is pertinent to note PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi removed the Wahab Riaz from both portfolios — senior manger and member of the selection committee.
He claimed that no pressure was put in the selection of the team and questioned how one person’s vote could dominate six people (members).
Wahab Riaz emphasized: “Minutes of everything and meetings are on record.”
“I will give my full reaction in this regard this evening,” Wahab Riaz said.
