Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sunday decided to field party officials in Punjab for the upcoming general elections 2024 to be held on February 8.
The PPP leadership has decided that no constituency of the National or provincial assembly will be left vacant in Punjab.
Sources claimed, as per the PPP’s political strategy, it has been decided that party officials should contest the elections on constituencies where the party did not find any electable to field in the elections.
The latest political strategy has been made on the instructions of the party chairman.
The party officials also presented a report about the contacts with those politicians who were deprived of PMLN-league tickets.
“Electable who agree with the party program and ideas should be included in the party,” PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto instructed party officials.
Bilawal Bhutto led a meeting and decided that the PPP would finalize candidates from all constituencies in a week. Bilawal Bhutto will hold further consultations with provincial organizations on his arrival in Lahore on Monday (tomorrow).
