According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Youm-e-Takbeer, observed annually on May 28 to commemorate Pakistan’s emergence as a nuclear power in 1998, symbolises the restoration of strategic balance in South Asia and the attainment of credible national defence autonomy.
