The nation pays homage to the brave martyrs of Pakistan, whose sacrifices for the country will forever be remembered.
Among these valiant souls is Naik Muhammad Riaz Shaheed of the Frontier Corps Balochistan, who courageously laid down his life for the defense of the homeland in Musakhel district, Balochistan, on August 26, 2024. Naik Riaz, a fearless soldier from Mianwali, fought terrorists with unmatched bravery before embracing martyrdom. He leaves behind his parents, widow, and children.
Naik Riaz's father, in an emotional tribute, shared his pride in his son’s sacrifice. "Riaz was a wonderful son who cared deeply for all of us. I felt immense pride when I learned of his martyrdom.
This is not the first time our family has made such a sacrifice; two of my sons have also been martyred in service to this country." He expressed deep longing for his son but remained steadfast in his pride for the family’s contribution to the nation.
Naik Riaz’s son remembered his father as a loving and compassionate man, who always spent time with the children whenever he was home. "I am extremely proud of my father's martyrdom," he said, "but I miss him deeply."
The legacy of Naik Muhammad Riaz Shaheed, and countless other martyrs, is a beacon of inspiration for future generations. Their eternal sacrifices ensure the safety and sovereignty of Pakistan. As long as brave soldiers like Naik Riaz stand guard, Pakistan will remain strong and secure.
