A westerly wave is affecting most parts of the country and is likely to persist for the next 24 hours and mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.

The weather office predicted that rain-wind/thunderstorms (snowfall over the mountain) are expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Pothohar region, northeast Punjab and upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.

However, rain wind-thunderstorm (snowfall over mountain) is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and adjacent areas.

Past 24 Hour Weather: Cloudy weather prevailed over most parts of the country. Rain-thunderstorm (snow over mountains) occurred in Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper/central Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.
