Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) said that trials of the hockey team to participate in the Olympic qualifier event are being held today (Tuesday).
Players of the ongoing training camp will participate in Naseer Banda Hockey Stadium in Islamabad while the National Hockey Selection Committee will select the talented players from the trials.
The selection committee includes Olympians Kaleemullah, Nasir Ali, Rahim Khan and Laeeq Lashari International
Newly appointed President of PHF Mir Tariq Bugti will also be present. Olympic qualifiers and 2024 Men's FIH Hockey5s World Cup teams will be selected at the final trials.
The Olympic qualifier event will be held in Muscat, Oman from January 15 to 21.
The 2024 Men's FIH Hockey5s World Cup will be played in Oman from January 18 to 30.
