Pakistan white-ball team head coach Mike Hesson has decided to complete his contract with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The sources divulged on Thursday that Hesson does not intend to join the England cricket team as a coach. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had shortlisted Mike Hesson’s name for the coaching position; however, he is not interested in accepting the role.
Moreover, the Pakistan white-ball coach's contract with the Pakistan Cricket Board runs until next year.

It is pertinent to note that a strong competition was expected among the leading coaches for the position of England cricket team’s new red-ball head coach, with Pakistan’s current head coach Mike Hesson included among the shortlisted candidates.
According to the British media reports, the ECB had shortlisted nine candidates for the permanent head coach position following Brendon McCullum’s tenure. The candidates had included Mike Hesson, former England head coach Andy Flower, Stephen Fleming, Justin Langer, Tom Moody and Kumar Sangakkara.
