PM hails acceptance of Islamabad MoU invitation
Addressing a delegation-level meeting, PM Shehbaz said it was a great pleasure to welcome the delegation to Pakistan once again. He said that the acceptance of his invitation following the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding was a matter of great happiness and satisfaction for all concerned.
Premier mourns thousands of Iranian civilian deaths
The prime minister requested that President Masoud Pezeshkian convey his warm regards to Iran’s Supreme Leader, praising his sagacious leadership, under which Iran had been able to secure the MoU and a ceasefire marked by dignity and honour.
He also expressed his deepest condolences over the killing of innocent Iranian brothers, sisters, and children, numbering in the thousands.
Brighter prospects hailed
PM Shehbaz said that under such leadership, there now exists an opportunity to look towards a brighter future, and he remained grateful for Iran’s trust in Pakistan’s ability to mediate with honesty and sincerity.
