Pakistan has reaffirmed its full support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from the Somalia’s foreign minister, Abdisalam Abdi Ali. The two leaders discussed matters relating to Somalia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and stability.
Dar condemned all actions that undermine Somalia’s stability and reiterated Pakistan’s complete and unwavering support.
The Somali foreign minister thanked Pakistan for its consistent diplomatic support and requested assistance in raising Somalia’s concerns at the United Nations Security Council. Dar assured him that Pakistan would continue to support Somalia at the United Nations and other multilateral forums.
