Indian hackers have carried out cyber attacks on various countries in the name of espionage and terrorism.
These hackers use cyber attacks to access sensitive information of other countries for their nefarious purposes, while they have been involved in carrying out cyber attacks on Canadian and Palestinian accounts.
In October 2023, former Indian naval officers were sentenced to death in Qatar over accusations of spying for Israel.
On October 26, an Indian hacker group threatened to retaliate with a cyber attack following the sentencing of the former navy officers, according to the Indian Defense Research Wing.
To avenge the sentencing of the naval officers, Indian hackers launch cyber attacks on Qatar. These attacks on Qatar's official portal lasted for two hours, the Indian forces said.
On November 7, India claimed to have carried out several cyber attacks on Qatar, fulfilling its earlier warning, the Indian Defense Research Wing claimed.
Qatar blamed Indian hackers for accessing its unauthorised access, leaking sensitive data, and defacing websites.
The hackers also breached Qatar's CCTV camera web servers, according to the report.
A collective Indian cyber force of hackers also launched a sophisticated attack on Qatar's key government e-commerce systems, the Cyber Express reported.
The Indian hackers also leak data of key organizations in Qatar, according to Reddit. It further said that hackers from the pro-India group hacked a Qatari shopping website.
Earlier, the same hacker group also claimed to have targeted Canadian government websites and Palestinian websites, according to TechPedo.
They had targeted the Canadian websites to respond to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's comments on Hardeep Singh Nijjar's murder.
The Indian hackers group also claimed to have hacked a Hamas website after the Israel-Hamas war broke out.
