A man accused of committing an indecent act with a minor girl in Multan’s Al-Mustafa Colony has been arrested in an injured condition. CCTV footage of the July 15 incident has also surfaced.
According to police, the suspect opened fire on the police team during the arrest operation. He was injured in the retaliatory fire exchange and shifted to Nishtar Hospital for treatment.
A police spokesperson confirmed that the suspect is also facing a murder charge for allegedly killing his own brother. The case is registered at B-Zone Police Station.
Authorities say further investigation is underway.
