A ceremony was held in honour of Pakistan Navy officers, CPOs, sailors and civilians during which 267 naval personnel were awarded military honours and commendation certificates.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, was the chief guest at the event. During the ceremony, 13 officers were conferred with the Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) and 11 officers received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military). Additionally, 183 Master Chief Petty Officers, Chief Petty Officers and sailors were awarded the Tamgha-e-Khidmat (Military).
Moreover, 60 officers, Master Chief Petty Officers, Chief Petty Officers, sailors and civilians were presented with commendation certificates in recognition of their service.
The event was attended by a large number of senior, serving and retired officers of the Pakistan Navy.
