Earthquake tremors were felt in different parts of Karachi on Friday.
The seismic monitoring centre said the earthquake measured 2.9 in magnitude. Tremors were felt at about 6pm in Shah Latif Town and nearby areas.
Initial reports said there were no reports of any loss of life or damage to property. The administration and the relevant authorities are monitoring the situation.
