A blast occurred at the outhouse of former Senator Abbas Afridi in Kohat, police confirmed on Wednesday.
According to initial reports, the nature of the explosion is still being determined. Police stated that three people, including Abbas Afridi, were injured in the incident.
Afridi has been moved to hospital in injured condition, and further investigation is under way.
A suspected gas leak caused an explosion in Kohat, according to District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Zahid Ullah.
