Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Dr. Tauqeer Hussain Shah has tendered his resignation.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anawarul Haq Kakar has accepted the resignation.
The Establishment Division has notified the resignation of Tauqeer Shah stating that it will come into effect from October 31.
Shah is a grade-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS).
Earlier, he had received a one-year extension in his service on a contract basis after reaching superannuation in the final week of December 2022.
