The Met Department has issued a weather advisory for Karachi, predicting four to five days of rainfall in the coming week. The forecast has raised alerts across the city, with authorities urging residents to stay updated on changing weather patterns.
Anjum Nazir Zaigham, the deputy director of the Meteorological Department, told Samaa TV that there are chances of good rainfall in the port city. “The situation will become clearer by tomorrow,” he said, emphasizing that while showers are expected, the weather will remain hot for the next three to four days.
According to Zaigham, sea breezes will continue to blow, but humidity levels will stay high, leading to increased discomfort. “Due to the rising humidity, the perceived temperature will feel much hotter than the actual reading,” he explained.
In terms of temperature, Karachi is expected to record highs between 34°C and 37°C in the coming days, with heat and humidity making it feel even more intense.
