Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Punjab chapter leader Hasan Murtaza reacting to the caretaker government's decision to suspend the Nawaz Sharif Al-Azizia sentence congratulated Nawaz Sharif on becoming ‘Ladla Plus’.
Murtaza said suspending punishment by the Punjab caretaker government Kanwaz Sharif was the ‘cowardly way’ and asked if such decisions were to be made then why courts were not locked yet.
“The caretaker government is doing everything it should not do,” the PPP leader said.
“The caretaker government did not come to give relief to criminals, but to hold elections,” adding that, “It is not the task of the caretaker Punjab Cabinet to approve the suspension of Nawaz Sharif's sentence.”
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should take notice of caretaker partiality of the caretaker government.
He questioned how many criminals in the jails of Punjab suspended the punishment of the supervisory cabinet of Punjab and the caretaker government should also suspend the sentence of the remaining prisoners.
Murtaza termed Nawaz Sharif as ‘Anokha Ladla’.
