A person in Kabirwala shot dead his mother and his three sisters and fled the case. Police said the search team was after it.
In another incident, a mother of three children, a resident of Basti Dogran Abdul Hakeem— a suburb of Kabirwala — committed suicide by jumping into the canal due to mental instability.
The mother of 3 children committed suicide due to a lack of mental imbalance. The woman who committed suicide was identified as Khursheed Bibi.
However, the heirs rejected the claims that Khurshid Bibi jumped into the canal due to a mental situation. Rescue 1122 said the body was recovered from a canal near Thangi Ada.
The body was shifted to THQ Hospital Kabirwala for post-mortem.

Police said motorcyclists opened fire shots on the car in Bhalwal and killed three people injuring another.
After the shooting, the accused escaped from the crime scene. The bodies and the injured were shifted to Bhalwal hospital.
Police said when the car stopped at the gate of Chak No. 5 closed, the opponents opened fire.
The dead and injured were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital of Bhalwal.
Police said the area has been cordoned off to arrest Zaman and the accused will be apprehended soon.
