Good news has surfaced for baseball fans as Pakistan will host the West Asian Baseball Cup.
According to details, the confirmation of hosting the event was made during the meeting of the Baseball Federation of Asia. Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) President Fakhar Ali Shah said: "Getting the rights to host the event is tantamount to expressing full confidence in Pakistan."
"The plan is to hold the event in October. The announcement of the venues and dates will be made soon," he said.
Shah said, "The teams of India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia will participate in the tournament."
"The teams of Palestine and Bangladesh will also take part in the event," Shah maintained.
