Police foiled terrorist attack on Lakki Marwat police station
Details indicate that late at night, unknown individuals attacked the Pizo police station in Lakki Marwat from two sides. Police opened heavy fire in retaliation, forcing the attackers to leave.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 91 terrorists were killed in more than 1000 operations against terrorism during 4 months of this year. In which 16 most wanted terrorists were also included.
According to the 4-month report issued by the Counter-Terrorism Department, there were 189 incidents of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, of which 10 attacks were made on anti-polio teams.
The report claims that 1,020 operations were carried out throughout the province, resulting in the deaths of 91 saboteurs, including 16 of the most wanted terrorists. The terrorists' holding of two suicide vests, thirty-six hand grenades, and 247 kg of explosives were found.
