Pakistan People's Party (PPP) candidate Humayun Khan won the by-election of local bodies in from Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan).
The polling was held for the provincial seat in Tehsil Daraban Kalan of Dera Ismail Khan on Sunday, in which PPP candidate Humayun Khan and Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) candidate Haider Khan Mian Khel were contesting.
According to the unofficial and inconclusive results, Humayun Khan of PPP was elected as a member of the assembly with 8, 387 votes.
SIC Haider Khan Mian Khel got 7, 888 votes.
