He urged the people to work towards building a strong, unified country by upholding social and economic justice, fostering brotherhood and tolerance, and fostering solidarity among all citizens. The president also expressed solidarity with the oppressed Muslims of Gaza and Palestine on behalf of the people of Pakistan.
He made a strong case for the international community to support the Palestinians and bring about immediate peace in Gaza. The most serious violation of human rights, according to him, is Israel's oppression, brutality, and genocide.
Zardari went on to say that the people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir should also be remembered on this happy occasion.
The president declared that Pakistan would continue to provide Kashmiris with political, diplomatic, and moral support in order to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir conflict in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people and UN resolutions.
