Pakistan Rangers recently hosted the National Tent Pegging Championship at the Rangers Polo Ground in Lahore. The event, now in its 6th edition, attracted widespread attention with participants from 85 teams, totaling 350 skilled riders.
Under the watchful eye of distinguished guests including Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi and Corps Commander Lahore Lieutenant General Aamir Raza, the championship showcased the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan alongside competitive spirit.
Among the highlights of the championship were the outstanding performances of Shahbaz Khel Club from Mianwali, Pak Zameer Friend Club from Mandi Bahauddin, and Al Wahab Club, also from Mandi Bahauddin, who clinched the top three positions respectively.
The competition, which included both traditional tent pegging and international-style contests, saw remarkable individual performances as well. Notably, Khan Tabassum Khan emerged victorious in the Single Line Team competition, while Muhammad Ashraf Kharral showcased his skill in the Single Position contest.
The event wasn't just about competition; it was a celebration of friendship and sportsmanship. Special guests distributed prizes, recognizing the exceptional talents displayed by the participants.
