Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has rejected reports of a power-sharing agreement with any political party for forming the government in Balochistan, asserting its own claim to lead the administration with the support of allies.
PML-N provincial president Sheikh Jafar Mandukhail reiterated the party’s stance, stating they hold the majority and intend to form the government.
He acknowledged the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) desire to nominate its own Chief Minister but emphasized PML-N’s intention to build a coalition with its allies in the province.
He raised concerns about alleged electoral irregularities, claiming his opponents manipulated the results with bribes offered to returning officers and called for further investigation into these accusations.
Earlier reports suggested that the PPP in Balochistan was poised to establish its government through an alliance with the PML-N and other political groups. However, in light of PML-N's recent statement, the situation appears to be more intricate, signaling potential challenges ahead in government formation.
