Left-hander Saud Shakeel is expected to replace Salman Ali Agha in the Super Four match against Sri Lanka at R. Premadasa on Thursday.

Salman had to face a brutal injury when the ball struck his face while attempting a sweep off Ravindra Jadeja against India in the Super Four match on Monday.

Salman’s face and eye are still swollen, due to which he is unlikely to take part in the all-important clash against Sri Lanka.

The 29-year-old also got four stitches between his nose and eye.

India trounced Pakistan comprehensively by clinching a 228-run victory against the arch-rivals.
