The family of an Iranian diplomat posted in Lahore has reportedly faced harassment in a shopping plaza in the Gulberg area of the city.
According to the police, the family of the diplomat had gone shopping in a private plaza in Gulberg on Wednesday, where two men passing by in a car harassed them.
They said the terrified family informed the police about the incident on Thursday, officials said.
They added that they have started searching for the vehicle of the suspects with the help of footage from CCTV cameras in Gulberg.
Media reports however suggest that the police have claimed to have succeeded in tracing the car and that further action has been set into motion.
