China's robotics company UBTech has introduced advanced AI-powered humanoid robots designed to provide companionship for people experiencing loneliness, assist older people and help with everyday household tasks.
According to a foreign news agency, the robots are equipped with large language models, voice recognition, facial recognition and the ability to hold natural conversations.
Robots can remember conversations with users
The company said the robots can remember conversations with users, answer questions, provide reminders about important matters and offer basic assistance at home.
The robots have been designed for older people, individuals living alone, household information support, and educational and entertainment activities. The aim is to provide users with a better and more personalised experience.
Humanoid robots are expected to learn users' habits
The company said the humanoid robots are expected to learn users' habits and needs in the future. This would allow them to provide more personalised assistance and carry out more complex household tasks.
