The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has decided to distribute more than 150,000 footballs in schools across the country under its grassroots development plan.
The initiative was shared in connection with the AFC Grassroots Football Day, which saw participation from 45 member associations.
Officials said the programme aims to strengthen football at school level and encourage wider participation among young players.
PFF President Syed Mohsin Gilani has said that grassroots football serves as a foundation for the sport’s development and described it as a “football factory”.
