Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their leadership following Pakistan’s role in efforts linked to a ceasefire understanding between Iran and the United States.
In a message posted on X, the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) president said the country played a key role in the promotion of peace with a strong sense of responsibility. He paid tribute to both the political and military leadership, extending congratulations on what he described as a notable success.
Aleem Khan said the decision by the United States and Iran to come to the negotiating table was a positive sign, adding that it had brought pride to the nation.
He said the country was now viewed internationally as a dignified state advocating peace. The federal minister expressed hope that further talks scheduled for Friday would lead to more encouraging developments.
