Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reached London on Monday, after wrapping up his visit to Austria.
His aircraft landed at London Luton Airport. After a two-day stay, the prime Minister will proceed to the United States.
My visit to Austria carries special significance as we are having a high level visit after more than three decades. It also coincides with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Pakistan–Austria diplomatic relations.

Earlier, PM Shehbaz had termed his visit to Austria as one of special significance. He sent a message on the occasion of 70 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Austria. This marked the first major official visit from Pakistan to Austria in three decades, he added.

The prime minister held a cordial and fruitful meeting with Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker. He reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthen relations between Pakistan and Austria. Both leaders agreed to enhance cooperation across trade, investment, tourism, education, and information technology sectors. Discussions also covered collaboration in health, human resources, and workforce mobility. Both countries expressed their determination to take bilateral partnership to a new level.
