Unknown armed men opened fire on the War Mamund police station in the Umaray area of Bajaur district last night.
The police responded with full force. Additional SHO Gul Mahmood Din, who was on duty, was struck by gunfire and martyred.
Bajaur DPO Waqas Rafiq confirmed the incident and stated that Bajaur police have launched a search operation in the area and that a full-scale police response continues.
