Security forces have killed 41 terrorists belonging to Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan during separate operations in Balochistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), two intelligence-based operations were carried out on January 29 in different areas of the province, targeting militants linked to the banned groups. A total of 41 terrorists were neutralized during the actions.
The ISPR spokesperson said the first operation was conducted on the basis of credible intelligence in an area near Harnai district, where security forces effectively targeted a terrorist hideout. During an intense exchange of fire, 30 Indian-backed terrorists were killed.
A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosive material was recovered from the killed militants. The recovered ammunition was destroyed on the spot.
In a separate operation on the same day in Panjgur, security forces killed 11 Indian-backed terrorists affiliated with Fitna-al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based raid. Terrorist hideouts were destroyed, and weapons and ammunition were recovered.
The ISPR further stated that money looted during a bank robbery was also recovered from the terrorists killed in Panjgur. The slain militants were involved in multiple terrorist activities in the past. The recovered ammunition was disposed of at the site.
The spokesperson reaffirmed that security forces remain determined to eliminate terrorism from the country and will continue operations against hostile elements.
