The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FCIT), University of the Punjab, will host its 15th Annual Career Fair on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the FCIT Quaid-e-Azam Campus.

The event continues its legacy of connecting talented students with Pakistan’s leading technology companies for career opportunities and industry exposure.

Over the past decade, FCIT’s Career Fair has become a key fixture in Pakistan’s tech industry calendar. From its modest beginnings in 2014 with 32 national and multinational companies, the fair has grown steadily, hosting nearly 60 top IT firms in 2023.

The event provides graduating students with on-the-spot interviews, recruitment tests, internships, and guidance for early career planning. It also allows students to understand industry trends, evolving skill requirements, and the roles expected of them in the professional world.

Participating companies

The upcoming edition will feature a diverse mix of product-based firms, consultancies, service providers, and technology innovators. Notable participants include NETSOL Technologies, Motive Inc., PakWheels (Pvt.) Ltd., PureLogics, Nextbridge, Educative, and Rolustech, among others.

Students will have the opportunity to interact directly with decision-makers, fostering meaningful professional relationships while exploring both local and international career pathways.

Trust and legacy in Pakistan’s digital sector

The Career Fair reflects the sustained trust between FCIT and the technology industry, built on the consistent quality of graduates and professional event management. To date, FCIT has produced nearly 10,000 graduates, many of whom hold key positions in multinational firms, and over 75 startups have been launched by its alumni.

Previous organizers noted that over 30 percent of Pakistan’s local technology workforce consists of FCIT graduates — a testament to the university’s academic rigor and the practical skills it instills.
