Dr Ali Larijani - Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council - on Monday arrived in Islamabad on a historic visit to hold high-level meetings with Pakistani officials.
The visit is set to enhance bilateral cooperation across security, economic, and regional stability agendas.
According to the Iranian embassy, Dr Larijani’s visit is of extraordinary importance, signaling a new strategic phase in Pakistan-Iran relations.

During his stay, he will discuss key areas such as security partnerships, border management, counter-terrorism, economic collaboration, and regional stability.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran Mudassir Tipu confirmed the visit on X, highlighting that it reflects the deepening dialogue between the two neighbouring countries.
The envoy noted that the meetings will strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors and further enhance bilateral relations.
