The federal government has announced the prices of the petroleum products for the next fortnight starting from November 16 (Sunday).
According to details, the price of petrol has remained stable at Rs265.45 per litre. However, the government has decided to increase the price of high-speed diesel by Rs6 per litre.
Changes in petroleum levies
According to official notifications:

The petroleum levy on petrol has been increased by Rs 1.60 per litre, raising the rate from Rs 78.02 to Rs 79.62 per litre.

The petroleum levy on diesel has been reduced by Rs 1.60 per litre, lowering the rate from Rs 77.01 to Rs 75.41 per litre.

Carbon levy rates on both petrol and diesel remain unchanged.

The freight margin on diesel has been reduced by Rs 1.82 per litre, while the extra margin on diesel fell by 24 paisa per litre.

On petrol, the extra margin was increased slightly by 3 paisa per litre
Changes in petroleum product prices
The Ministry of Finance confirmed the following price adjustments:

Light diesel oil (LDO): Increased by Rs 6.82 per litre, now priced at Rs 170.80, up from Rs 163.98

Kerosene: Increased by Rs 8.34 per litre, now priced at Rs 194.34, up from Rs 185.50

High-speed diesel (HSD): Price rose by Rs 6 per litre, from Rs 278.44 to Rs 284.44

Petrol price: Remains stable at Rs 265.45 per litre, despite the increase in the petroleum levy, due to adjustments in other margins
