Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has directed the party’s Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) to vote against the 27th amendment.
According to details surfaced on Tuesday, Rehman said that a constitutional amendment was before the National Assembly and that the matter had earlier been discussed in a meeting of the parliamentary party.
He said the JUI-F had decided to oppose the amendment after considering all its aspects. The party’s MNAs had been instructed to vote against it.
As the JUI-F chief and parliamentary leader in the National Assembly, Rehman issued formal directions to all members of his party in the House.
