The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has officially announced the annual results for Pre-Engineering First Year 2025. Thousands of students appeared in the exams, but less than half were able to secure a pass in all subjects.
Thousands of students sit exams
According to the examination department, a total of 19,433 candidates registered for the Pre-Engineering exams this year. Out of these, 19,023 students actually appeared in the annual papers.
Success rate remains low
Sharing the results, Examination Supervisor Zarina Rashid confirmed that 8,569 candidates were declared successful in all six papers. This brings the overall success ratio to just 45%.
