Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar pledged on Friday fairness and equal opportunities for all parties in the upcoming general elections.
In an interview with a private channel, Mr Kakar assured that all political parties will have an equal chance in the upcoming general elections.
He reaffirmed that all parties are permitted to hold rallies within the bounds of the law.
Furthermore, the interim premier emphasised that the election date is set by the Election Commission, and consultation is essential.
"No political party has been prevented from holding meetings, as long as they adhere to the law," added Mr Kakar.
Afghan illegal migrant issue
PM Kakar also discussed plans to regulate the situation of Afghan illegal immigrants, saying the government assured migrants that the rights of those with legal claims, including property and birth certificates, would be respected.
The caretaker premier also promised to take action against individuals involved in criminal activities.
May 9 and PTI exodus
PM Kakar clarified the government's stance on the events of May 9 and the distinction between investigations and enforced disappearances.
He dismissed the notion that actions taken after the May 9 press conference resulted in a prolonged case, highlighting the significant difference between individuals detained for investigation and enforced disappearances.
Security agencies have the authority to conduct investigations as part of their duties," he said.
PCB chairman decision
On the other, PM Kakar addressing the issue of the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) outlined the timeline for the decision.
He revealed that the decision regarding the PCB Chairman's position will be made after the World Cup.
