The threat of dengue continues to loom in the country as 34 dengue cases reported in Rawalpindi since July.
According to details, many cases of dengue larvae being recovered in the city have also been reported. It has been said that the preparations have been made to combat any situation. Rawalpindi District Health Authority Chief Executive Officer Dr Ehsan Ghani told in a press conference that as of now, Rawal Town has reported the most number of cases, with the total number reached 19.
The larvae are mostly recovered in those areas of the Pothohar Division, where people restore water due to the water shortage.
Moreover, the dengue counters have been established in the hospitals. The arrangements of additional beds would also be made if needed.
The training sessions for the doctors are being conducted to ensure the treatment of the patients.
