– ACC refused to change venue for Lankan leg –
In a latest development, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Tuesday refused to change the venue for Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup.
The ACC made it clear that Colombo would host the rest of the matches in Sri Lanka. The high-voltage contest between India and Pakistan will be held in Colombo on September 10.
However, the reserve day has been kept in case of precipitation.Earlier, it was reported that Pakistan had requested the ACC to shift the remaining matches of the Asia Cup in Pakistan due to heavy rainfall in Sri Lanka. However, it was reported on Monday that the remaining matches of the Asia Cup had been shifted to Hambantota.
