Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar reacted on Wednesday to US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu’s testimony.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Tarar said: "The PTI founder had waived a cypher in one public meeting. The PTI had stopped the hearing of the Congress Committee through the lobbying firm".
"Today Donald Lu has declared you [PTI founder] a liar in front of the entire world," he added.

Few days back, Tarar assailed the PTI over the events that transpired on May 9.
Expressing his thoughts, Tarar said: “The PTI leaders and extremists had themselves posted the videos on social media. You [PTI] cannot change reality by changing the statements every now and then.”
“Everything was recorded on the camera that happened on May 9. It is an old habit of May 9 rioters to continue speaking lies,” Tarar said.
He said: “A group that has been involved in attacks on the state cannot be considered a political party.”
