United Nations (UN) chief António Guterres said on Friday that he was focusing keenly on the situation in Pakistan.
Expressing his thoughts, Guterres said, " The Pakistani politicians should remain calm. The mobile service suspension and internet outage are concerning.".
He said, "All the candidates should avoid taking any actions that erupt tensions.".
"It is an appeal to the candidates to respect the supremacy of the law," Guterres maintained.
The UN chief stated: "The political leaders should try to tackle the controversies by following the legal ways."
